The Minervois stretches between Carcassonne and Capestang, Félines Minervois up to Homps.The countryside of the Minervois is magnificent with its mythical places, such as the famous Canal de Midi et Carcassonne, both are listed by UNESCO as "World Heritage sites "UNESCO «official world heritage site list and it's line of Cathare Castles. Minerve is on the list «les plus beaux villages de France» there are picturesque markets, summer "fetes" such as the « fête au coeur de la pierre» in the river bed of the Cesse gorge in the natural caves cut in the rocks under Minerve, Pin-Art a celebration of good local wine and art and artistes of the region at le Cave Les Trois Blazons at Azillanet, Les Grands Chemins a week of artistique activities, wine tastings and walks in and around the Minervois with Minerve as its centre.
